Gabriela Bonomo is a Brazilian actor working in NY. In 2002 she received first place for "Renúncia", a devised 10 minute piece. She been in Hamlet (Ophelia), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena), Suddenly, Last Summer (Catherine). Work in film and movies include three collaborations with Peter Azen and Illium Pictures. She had a principal role in "So Hard to Forget" directed by Malu DeMartino and her own short film "Severina" was at the Cannes Short Film Corner 2010. She has also performed in works by Brazilian visual artists Tunga, Jarbas Lopes and Ernesto Neto. She has a B.A. in Performing Arts from PUC-Rio and an M.F.A. in Acting from the New School for Drama ('16). She enjoys working on classics, contemporary and devised pieces, on screen and stage.
